The national Democratic machine is in panic mode over the Arizona Senate’s #MaricopaCounty ballot audit. On Tuesday, the Democrats sent in national fixer attorney Marc Elias’s firm Perkins Coie to throw around threats and make the audit go away.

Now, Elias is “making a curious argument in New York for a Democratic lawyer: he is alleging that thousands of votes may have been switched or changed by Dominion voting machines.”

The letter alleges that this arrangement violates Rule 1.7 of the American Bar Association’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct, which prohibits an attorney from engaging in representation that involves “a concurrent conflict of interest.”

The letter also raises ethical concerns about Elias and Perkins Coie being sanctioned by the court in a previous election law case.
