The science has its skeptics
But some experts are skeptical of the science.
For starters, in the rush to get started, the FDA allowed #Moderna's RNA vaccine -- called mRNA-1273 -- to essentially gloss over the animal-testing that typically precede clinical trials in humans. Given the nature of this emergency, they are happening in parallel.
Siddiqi said this is cause for alarm.
"I would not let that [vaccine] to be injected in my body," he said. "I would demand: Where is the toxicity data from the lab?"
Professor Nikolai Petrovsky at Flinders University in Australia, who is collaborating with Oracle to use computer models and AI technology to develop a Covid-19 vaccine, has concerns about the mRNA trials, insisting the US government has taken an unproven vaccine and "put (it) straight into humans."
"It's a double game," he said. "An unproven platform for a new disease with no animal testing."

Patients in the hospital setting were randomly assigned to treatment with inhaled interferon beta (SNG001, #Synairgen) or placebo.
“The results confirm our belief that #interferon beta, a widely known drug that, by injection, has been approved for use in a number of other indications, has huge potential as an inhaled drug to be able to restore the lung’s immune response, enhancing protection, accelerating recovery and countering the impact of SARS-CoV-2 virus,” Tom Wilkinson, MA Cantab, MBBS, PhD, FRCP, professor of respiratory medicine at the University of Southampton and trial chief investigator, stated in the release.
But some experts are skeptical of the science.

While conducting clinical trials on the poor is financially advantageous, it can also be dangerous. Citing numerous examples of the danger, a South African newspaper once declared, “We are the guinea pigs for the drug makers.”
From 2009 to 2011, phase III clinical trials of the first malaria vaccine – funded by the Gates Foundation and manufactured by GSK – took place in seven African countries (Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Tanzania).
In 2011, GSK’s own data showed female children were dying (from any cause) at more than twice the rate of those in the control group. Children who received the vaccine also had a risk of meningitis that was 10 times higher than those who didn’t.
Yet the WHO still coordinates the administration of the drug to more than 700,000 children in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi, as part of an unofficial clinical trial it calls a “pilot implementation.” (It was the Gates-aligned SAGE that recommended the pilot implementation.)
Since this product is administered to children as part of the countries’ vaccination schedule, the WHO claims consent is implied. But parents aren’t always given information regarding safety risks, again rendering them unable to give informed consent for their children. As the associate editor of the British Medical Journal put it, “an implied consent process means that recipients of the malaria vaccine are not being informed that they are in a study.”

#Moderna’s vaccine, which uses messenger RNA technology, is a new type of vaccine that has never been approved for use before.
Results from a phase one trial of 45 people were published last week. Two injections were given 28 days apart and it was the second injection that caused the most issues.
All the trial participants who received 100 or 250 microgram injections reported adverse systemic events such as fever, headache or fatigue and almost all experienced local symptoms such as pain, swelling or redness at the injection site after the second injection. Reactions listed ranged from mild to severe, with a dosage of 250 micrograms more likely to cause severe reactions.
One study participant who received the higher dose suffered from a severe fever. “After sleeping for several hours at home, upon standing the participant was lightheaded and nauseous, vomited, and then fainted,” the study noted. He later said his girlfriend had caught him as he fainted and stopped his head from hitting the ground. He remained mildly fatigued for six days.

Liszt says a major piece of this effort was in reasserting control over all the UFO information that had been gathered in recent decades, over which the Executive Branch had lost control at the end of the Eisenhower Administration.
In the wake of the UFO flap of 1947, the US had created a secret group sometimes referred to as Majestic Twelve or MJ12 to study and to reverse-engineer the technology that was recovered. MJ12 grew beyond its mandate and eventually slipped away from presidential supervision, forming a breakaway group within the National Security State via elements in the CIA.
When Kennedy discovered this group operating outside Presidential oversight, he determined that the safest response was to share our knowledge of the UFO phenomenon with the Russians and to avert a new arms race in space by instituting a joint space program.
Kennedy’s National Security Action Memorandum 271 directed NASA to institute a policy of cooperation in space exploration with the Russians. Another memo, recently released under the Freedom of Information Act, shows that JFK told the CIA to hand over all data concerning UFOs with an emphasis on “High Threat” cases. These memos were dated November 12th, 1963, only ten days before JFK was killed in Dallas, Texas, suggesting that this is what triggered his assassination.
E. Howard Hunt, the CIA super spy best known as the coordinator of the Watergate burglars revealed this to his close friend and attorney for the “Watergate 7”, Douglas Caddy.
In this interview, Caddy tells Liszt what Hunt told him: “I said, ‘Well, Howard, why was John Kennedy assassinated?’ He said, ‘John Kennedy was assassinated because he was about to give our most vital secret to the Soviets…’ and I was stunned by that.
“I mean, John Kennedy, our president – Soviets? And I never even thought about, heard about such a thing and I said, ‘Well, what was that?’ and at that point, he leaned forward and looked right in my eyes, directly at my eyes and he said, ‘The alien presence,’ and reached out and shook my hand and then turned and walked away. And that was the last time I saw Howard Hunt.”
